It is totally local den, so there is nothing much on the beach itself as far as water sport activities are concerned like parasailing and water bikes.

While we visited this place temperature is too high. So we taken some rest under the trees which are behind the beach and we had some local made Ice creams which are very tasty.

Among the all places Dona Paula is one of the best choice for lovers and new visitors. Dona Paula is a typical tourist place surrounded by the hotels, a row of vendors. They sells Goa T-shirts, jewelry and all tourist materials.

Dona Paula
Dona Paula is a village and tourist area with a popular beach and it is very close to Panjim. There are several stories connected to Dona Paula and this statue. Some say it is Dona with her elusive husband Paulo who was a fisherman. She kept waiting for him and he did not return to stone. Another story has it that Dona Paulo was a rich daughter of the Portuguese viceroy who settled here and was known to be very charitable to the villages around, after she died, her tomb was erected close to the Chapel at the Governors Palace and in her honor, this village was Dona Paula.

"One of the most curious attractions in Dona Paula is a white washed statue perched on the rocks near the popular ferry jetty. It is very popular as lovers paradise. because of a myth attached to this place "

Beautiful View from the top of Dona Paula

While we walked around on the top of this place we saw the wonderful view from above the hillock and relax in benches with taking some pictures. But we feel very hot weather because we visited before afternoon. This place attracts me very much especially for its natural beauty of see side and it filled a lot of pleasure in my heart.

Finally I want to tall one thing about this beautiful place, It is a famous for lovers, couples and teenagers because this is a calm and beautiful for spending sometime alone with who loves someone to share everything while walking on these silent beach side roads and we can chat under the big trees which are besides the beaches and we can also enjoy the beauty of nature with fresh air.

" I had traveled here two times to enjoy the beaches, evening walk along with friends chat and see the beautiful view of sunset at beaches, these are mesmerizing with locals, which are playing with ball, kids building sand castles and young couple walking hand-in-hand. This made me such a pleasure to relax and I understood the lure of why a backpacker would spend weeks here purely to enjoy the simple, chilled life.

Aju at Baga Beach
Second day we visited the following places which is shown in the Day 1 blog:

1. MORJIM & VAGATOR BEACHES :

These beaches are mostly less crowded beaches, these are very calm, peaceful and green beaches. They are beautifully made by the nature. Here always sunrise and sunset was great experience to watch. These are best beaches for new couples to spend more time alone and talk with each other and also spend with children's because waves are very slow and small.

Night time these beaches are famous for rave parties. we can shopping in vagator flea market which is filled with almost everything which we need. Mostly Saturday flea market is quite lengthy and crowded. It takes 2-3 hours to complete the shopping.

we are at shopping area

2. CHAPORA FORT :

Chapora Fort was constructed by the rulers of Bijapur - Adil Shah. Further occupied by the Portuguese in 16th century.

This Fort is now in ruins, it was used as a border watch post by the Portuguese in the past days. Now there is nothing to see, just there is a massive structure expect a few tombstones and bits of glorious red laterite stones. The secret passage ways and tunnels within the Fort only add to its mysterious aura.

I am at ruins of Chapora Fort

This Fort offering a superb view of Morjim and Vagator beaches from the top of the Fort. So many people visit the Chapora Fort for just to feel the mystical air and view the sea from the ramparts of the Fort. The walls are still strong and have withstood the lashes of time for many years.

Vie from the top of the Chapora Fort

3. ARAMBOL BEACH :

Just 30 Km from vagator beach thee is another beautiful beach : ARAMBOL. It is not a very much known popular beach but can make for a good evening walk. The beach is quite beautiful with cliff's on two sides, giving it a cove like structure with magnificent views.

Arambol beach has a great vibe, still holding on to what's left of the hippies and their way of life. A short walk, north off the main beach is a smaller beach with a "Fresh water Lake" close to the sea. The water here is a mixture of fresh water and sea water.

4. BAGA BEACH : AN EXOTIC BEACH

At evening 4:00 PM, we went to  Baga beach. After Calangute beach I mostly liked this beach because the scenery of the beach s varied, beautiful and unspoiled, especially evening sunset.

Baga beach not only for tourists but also for local visitors it is the best choice and who would like to spend sometime for themselves and their families. It is the best place to spend sometime in solitude, some quite moments alone with your own thoughts and also for reading books on the beach sand.

Aju at Baga beach - sunset time

Baga is a popular beach with its brown sand and creek. Baga is famous for water sports and dolphin cruises. This beach is an ideal location for beach holidays, picnic, fishing, shopping. Some other attractions near the Baga beach are Tito's Lane, Tito's Club, Casino Club, Cafe Mambo, Kandy club and chilling night life.

I want to say something that tourists from all over the world get attracted by the sea, sun and sand available at serene beaches and a treasure trove for those who wish to relax and replenish. Its very fascinating but true that many tourists fails to understand the Baga beach, Its how beautiful and how can we enjoy ourselves and with families.

With friends at Baga Beach
Chilling at Baga Beach
"I Love to take photos while walking around the Baga beach, as well as Calangute beach here also so many beach shacks available. They serve seafood, drinks and all...   At sunset time I like to sit on a sand where the waves are whispering, then eat some seafood and had some drinks. Its beautiful moment, I cant explain in my words.. I just feel with my innocent heart and I never forgot these memories which I felt in my journey of life."
                                                       Thanks to beautiful Baga Beach...

Go.Go..GOA - Three Days Trip in GOA ( DAY-1 )

How to plan for Goa trip in Three days
After completion of my college Examinations I decided to go three days trip to Goa with my colleagues Narendhar, Prasad, Zakeer, Venkatesh which are friends also. It was my second time trip to Goa. We started our journey on 17.04.2018 from Gadwal at 8:30 PM. After one hour journey we stopped our vehicle for dinner at Raichur which is 60 Km away from Gadwal. Further we continued our journey till to morning. In these Night journey so many times Local police and Central Army forces was stopped our vehicle for checking due to Elections in Karnataka State.

we arrived at Goa, first reached Panjim on early morning and we crossed the Mondori river and drove straight to Calangute. The distance from Panjim to Calangute is about 15 Kms. we check in a hotel which is very near to Calangute beach. In these three days we had our breakfast, Lunch and Dinner in various hotels which we like more tasty and different to our regular menu. I noticed here that we can drive ti any beach or any area easily because on every road direction markers shows how to we get our destination and their people are very friendly and helpful.

In these days every early morning and  evening we spent our time at beaches for enjoying with beautiful view of sunset along with a lot of peace in more crowd. as well as the other time we visited forts, Dolphin Points, Churches, Museums etc. because we have only three days time to visit this most beautiful and popular places in  Goa.

Fist Day we visited the following places which is shown in the above map.

1. SINQUERIM BEACH :

We went this beach on afternoon time, the sun is rising and the day with hot weather. So we spent only half an hour at this beach. Best time to visit this beach is evening because we can feel sunset with good view and also we can capture beautiful pictures of nature.

Sinquerim Beach
I found that at this beach the crowd will be moderate and Its a great place, absolutely peaceful, calm, clean and well maintained. So you can enjoy in water for a longer time with your beloved ones or family members. It is good to have more fun with playing in water. There are few water sports are available like scooter boat, skying, parasailing, scuba driving and wind surfing.

2. AGUADA FORT:

Before visiting sinquerim beach we went to visit Fort Aguada. This fort is very popular destination for tourists in Goa. Aguada Fort constructed by the Portuguese rulers in the year of 1612 to guard this land against the Dutch Invasions and Maratha's. It was once used to provide water supply to the passing ships.

This Fort was built by Prime stone which used in the construction of houses and Forts in Goa.

Aju at Aguada Fort

We went there morning and found it is the best time to visit. Usually Aguada Fort is huge crowded with locals and foreigners throughout the year. So I recommended to reach early and visit this place with calm climate and the beautiful views of Arabian sea

View of Light House

There is a working Light House in the inside of the Aguada Fort.

Timings : 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
It Opens on all days of the weak.
There is no entry Fee.
Narendhar, Venkatesh, Zakeer and Aju

" Whenever you go to Goa you must  visit Aguada Fort because it is ancient old Portuguese place to see the beautiful views and spectacular imaginary boundaries of Arabian Sea."

3. ANJUNA BEACH:

Anjuna is basically village in Goa. It is not really the most beautiful beach we can see in Goa and not really a quiet place. You must beware from such things and some men especially in  parties and night clubs because it is a racist place.

Anjuna Beach
Anjuna is famous for its parties and also the home of the most popular night clubs of Goa. Anjuna is also a place known for its small rocks by sea side. People staying in near by the hotels often walk up to the sea and sit here in morning hours to look at the rising sun and sip local Tea or Coffee. It is also a good time to take some exclusive pictures.

Aju.. beside the market area of Anjuna Beach

We went Anjuna beach after 12:00 PM. We sat on the beach walls then taken some beautiful pictures and watched the surroundings, stalls and beach area with quite and calm. After second time of visit my opinion is Anjuna beach is only famous for night parties, bars, shacks and restaurants as well as there is nothing to see.

4. ANJUNA FLEA MARKET :

Anjuna Beach also hosts the famous flea market, which happens on every Wednesday. Where u can purchase so many things like clothes, sunglasses, hand loom accessories, Bhudha or Shiva statues, Jewelry, hammocks and vintage art crafts.

I heard before that, In this flea market where can you find anything you look for at a cheap price but its totally wrong. Price is not cheap also we can find more things for only women and family members.

Finally I refer that If you go to Anjuna beach you must visit this flea market for experience and purchase of some kind of things which one u like.

Anjuna Flea Market

4. DOLPHIN POINT :

After seen Aguada Fort at mid afternoon we went to Dolphin point. It is situated beside the Coco Beach and Condolim beach area. In Goa so many Points are there in various beach areas to watch Dolphins but this is the best place. After taking the ticket at ticket counter the boat operator gathers four to eight members as group and venture out about a couple of kilometers into the sea to watch dolphins circling in action.

Premises of Dolphin Point

Our boat operator is a genuine and good person. first we went long in to the sea but we did not see any dolphin in the sea. But he tried hard to show dolphins to our group members. So he taken us more long in to the sea and rounded the boat so many times. finally we saw two dolphins which are chasing behind the boat.

Aju on the Boat Ride

While we are in the middle of the sea the water and view is superb and we can feel a mind blowing thrill. This boat trip also takes us around the Goa's old Jail, View of Fort Aguada, Light house and famous Bombay Millionaire Palace which are the  beside ares of the Arabian ocean. The Dolphin Spotting will cost you around Rs.300/- per head for one hour.

4. CALANGUTE BEACH : THE LARGEST & MOST COMMERCIAL BEACH

After taken some rest in hotel room we went to calangute beach around 4:00 PM by walk. Because our hotel is besides the calangute beach.Near the beach we can see various shops that sell everything like fancy beachwear, beach accessories, sunglasses, hats, tattoos and all....

Entry of the Calangute Beach

The beach road is always crowded with tourist buses, cars and rental bikes. The beach area is best for who wants to stay in budget hotels and home stays. Beside the beach area bikes and cars are available for daily rental which is given 8 hours time for day. If any one went to Goa without vehicle I suggest you please take the scooty for rent which is just Rs.250/- for day. for this you should have to keep  licence near with you and you can also ask for helmet with rental bike.

Aju at Calangute Beach

The road side shops sells various dishes like sea fish, crabs, prawns, chicken and mutton fries with reasonable rates and the food taste as well as quality also very good. Every day we tasted this foods with parcels.

"The most famous amongst  all the beaches in Goa is Calangute. It is also called as "Queen of Beaches", This is actually a part of the Calangute town located 15 Kms north from the capital city of Panjim. It is also easily accessible and lots of options to stay around for eat and drink. "

This beach is most crowded beach in Goa. we ca see in every minute lot of new visitors will come and  old visitors will leave from here. The beach is four miles long lies between the Baga Beach and Condolim Beach. In this beach the waves near the shore itself very heavier. It increase the thrill while we are in water and playing water sports with friends and family members.

With Friends at Calangute Beach
At evening after came from the beach water we sit at the tables of  the shacks and my friends are started to had some drinks before the beach with watching the view of the beautiful scenic sunset in the most crowded people in the beach. This beach hotel waiters was supplied all types of  drinks and food with respect. We enjoyed till ends the light and turns into night.

" Calangute and Baga Beeches, I visited twice, they  holding the spectacular beauty and charm with all the frantic night life of an ocean paradise. I hope these are way to heaven for nature lovers and  they given me unforgettable memories in my life."
